A shelf, not a portfolio

The Projects section has been quietly filling up, and I’ve reached the point where I can’t remember what’s on there without looking. So here’s the whole shelf in one place, grouped by what it’s actually for.

None of this is a product. It’s the stuff I built because I wanted it to exist, and it’s all either open source or on its way there.

Sound and light

The oldest thread, and the one that started everything else.

Tech-Noid Systems — the bass music and visual collective: streaming, live shows, and the tooling behind the feed.
obs-radio-output — a native OBS plugin that streams straight to Icecast and SHOUTcast, no separate encoder in the chain. Public beta, Windows included now.
Audiophore — audio analysis → every light in the room. A low-latency bridge from Synesthesia to Hue, WLED, Art-Net, and lasers.

The bench

This is where most of the recent energy went. Somewhere along the way the infrastructure habit went physical.

benchhud — a heads-up display for the microsoldering bench. Scope feed, thermal camera registered on top of it so a component’s heat bloom lands on the component, instrument telemetry, all in one window and composited straight into a stream. How the fusion works.
bench-parts and benchhud-intake — inventory and job intake, running on the cluster. They’re separate services for a reason worth its own post: the streaming feature drew a privacy boundary.
OpenBoardView — not mine. Someone else’s board viewer that I patched because board-to-schematic cross-probing silently did nothing on macOS. The story of that one is a decent lesson in how a missing feature can look exactly like a broken one.

Printed things

3D Printer Models — a dozen models kept as OpenSCAD source, so the STL is an output you can regenerate rather than a mesh you’re stuck with. Mostly bench organization, some VJ rig hardware.
Clickfinity (OpenSCAD) — magnet-free Gridfinity baseplates. Just went public: it clicks, it tiles, and any grid size is two knobs.

Tools

claude-project-kit — scaffolding so an AI-assisted session starts already grounded instead of re-deriving the project every time.
apptracker — self-hosted job-hunt tracking that lives in your cluster instead of one browser’s local storage.
recipe-card-maker — markdown recipes in, printable binder pages and 4×6 tin cards out. Why plain files.

Chat

annoybots — the eggdrop and BMotion era rebuilt as one Go binary across IRC, Twitch, and Discord. The Markov brain still babbles, and it still occasionally says something better than anyone in the channel.

And one that isn’t software

Emotional Support Pizza — artisan baked pizza, breads, and pastries. Every list needs one entry that breaks the pattern.

The nav dropdown only carries a handful of these now — thirteen items in a menu is not a menu, it’s a wall. The Projects page is the real index, and it’s the one I’ll keep current.
